Superior Streams is a non profit grass roots organization working with Lakehead University to develop a mapping project that provides information about stream and watershed characteristics including: riverbed material, bank stability, water temperature, riparian vegetation and shade, local land use and land cover, in-stream vegetation, fish habitat and cover, and barriers to fish movement. This project was proudly sponsored in part by the NSSA and we encourage you to check it out. The content on this project will be expanded as more information is tabulated.
