A clean up of the McIntyre River and roadways has been scheduled for Tuesday May 22nd from 7-9 pm (rain date May 23rd . Please let us know if you are available to help out

Also, if a large enough response is received we will proceed with a clean up of the Lorne Allard Fishermans Park area adjacent to the Current River on Wednesday May 24th with a rain date of May 25th beginning at 7pm.

Respond to northshoresteelhead@gmail.com or call Frank at 475-7712.

Remember to bring your own water!

We would ask that all volunteers report in at 7pm. Park your vehicle along Riverside Dr. adjacent to the Thunder Bay Country Club golf course property.

As a thank you for your efforts there will be an attendance draw for 3 gift certificates ($100.00 and two $50.00) from DnR

You will be working in a small group (numbers to be determined based on the final number of volunteers).

When you arrive, you will be told what group you are in and given a map which will show you the area you will be cleaning.

Each group will be provided a garbage bag(s) bag and a recycle bag. We have nitrile disposable gloves to protect your hands. We also will have a small number of cotton gloves (3) which you can have or you can bring your own (encouraged).

Once you have completed the clean up of your area remember to place your garbage and recycle bags at the designated location (check your map), and we will pick it up and take it to the landfill facility.

You are encouraged to take photos of the clean up, which we hope you will share on social media.

We look forward to meeting you on Monday evening.
